Rural India CSR Club cater to various needs of rural areas around Mumbai. It works with Sadhana Village (SV), a non-profit organization at the heart of Kolwan valley, 30km from Pune. SV works on issues of development and education. Additionally, in teams students work on 1-2 innovative projects during the year in order to solve existing problems in the village. These will be moderated and carefully watched to successfully make a change in the villagers' lives. Rural India is open to any creative and innovative ideas and will support each project to the club’s fullest capacity. The club visits the village once a year, where students will stay in the village for one/two nights and work on various projects that can help the villagers.
Club goals for 2017-18:
Day and time of CSR activity: One annual visit to Sadhana Village and ongoing Rural Development projects in school
Weekly Club meetings: Monday second lunch in Ms. Bajaj's Room (M19)
