Partnerships

We have strong relationships with our NGO partners and other community organizations. Our students not only learn about specific issues from these organizations but also work closely with them to better serve their needs. We currently work with twenty four partner organizations.

PYP Units of Inquiry

In Elementary School, CSR activities are closely linked to PYP units of inquiry. Teachers work with CSR partners who can provide enriching experiences to our students to understand complex topics like child rights, biomes, economics, leadership, etc. through a CSR lens.

Making CSR Visible

A year-end CSR showcase in HS and a CSR celebration in MS make visible, student learning and reflection.
Embracing India, the Splash and Dash Aquathon and Holiday Mela are annual school-wide events that raise money for specific causes.
Our ASB Mission Awards for enhancing the lives of others recognize HS students for their commitment to CSR
NGO Bazaars which are held several times a year provide opportunities for partners to sell their lovely products to our community
Recycling Program- Each week, ES and MS students collect used paper from every single room in the school. This paper is then picked up by one of our partner NGOs for recycling.

Parents and Staff

Several ASB staff members are regular, committed volunteers with some of our partner NGOs. In 2012, with the help of our parent ambassadors, we launched 'ASB CARES'- an initiative to engage our parent community in structured, service-related activities.

CSR Clubs

Middle and High School Students can initiate or join CSR clubs that run throughout the year. Currently, we have twenty two student led service clubs.
