Habitat For Humanity CSR Club
This CSR club works on issues of community development. Specifically, they address topics related to rural housing for people who cannot afford a home of their own. This club focuses on activities such as educational awareness, advocacy, fundraising, and participating in a Habitat for Humanity home-build in rural Maharashtra. They work closely with the
Club goal(s) for 2016-17:
- Increase awareness of the Habitat group to the ASB High School by 25% (measured through the surveys sent at the beginning, middle and end of the 2016-2017 SY)
- Increased participation of ASB High School students at the Habitat Builds (more than 10) in 1 build per semester.
The club believes that increased awareness of the club in the high school will help lead to more participation at the builds. Increased participation in the Habitat Builds which leads to more productive work at the site.
Day and time of CSR activity: One site visit per semester (Two Saturdays in an year)
